The wear resistance index is 80, and the design is almost the same as RC-001 – high level grip with grooves. Due to the technology of racing tyres, a more rigid formula is used, so as to obtain a faster and more accurate handling response, which improves the SP-01R’s performance over other semi slick tyres. Racing bead technology means that the pressure on the carcass and sidewall of the tyre can be evenly distributed during use thereby reducing any sharp drop in performance and maintaining the structural integrity of the tyre under high load or high speed conditions. Therefore, SP-01R can maintain better stability at high speed and can maximize the performance of the vehicle and enhance the driving experience.

Design and Concept

Competitive Pattern Design

  • A temperature detection hole is included in the middle of the tyre which makes it easier for the user to insert the tyre temperature needle and read the temperature information inside the tyre.

  • The small internal test pattern can effectively improve the drainage effect of the main groove and make the internal test tyre reach the working temperature more quickly in dry conditions.

  • Narrow groove and tyre support link point can reduce the extrusion deformation of tread block during aggressive steering and enhance cornering stability.

  • The lateral tread design on the outer side improves the heat dissipation area of the tread, keeps the outside of the tyre in the optimal temperature state and makes the tyre reach the perfect proportion of inner, middle and outer temperature range.
